It all started when…
Dr. Barbara Walsh was one of the first female obstetrician gynecologist in the St. Louis area over 20 years ago. She has had the privilege of serving more than 15,000 women and delivering more than 5,000 babies. Throughout her career, Dr. Walsh has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to her patients and love of caring for women across their lifetimes.
Dr. Walsh's commitment so inspired her daughter, that she too chose Obstetrics and Gynecology for her life's work. Along with Nancy Arnold, Drs. Barbara and Allison Walsh look forward to caring for your family across generations.
Barbara Walsh, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Walsh graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her residency training at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, now Mercy Hospital - St. Louis. Dr Walsh became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1984.
Dr. Walsh has served the women of the St. Louis community for more than 20 years.
In her spare time, Dr. Walsh enjoys traveling, reading and puzzling.
Allison Walsh, M.D., M.B.A., FACOG
Dr. Walsh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. She completed her residency training at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis and served as a chief resident during 2013-2014 and became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015.
Dr. Walsh is excited to join her mother and Nancy Arnold in offering comprehensive OB/GYN care to the women of St. Louis.
In her free time, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time with her husband, running, traveling and cooking/dining on international cuisines.
Nancy Arnold, WHNP
Nancy Arnold is a board certified Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) that has been providing care to women for the past 20 years. She has practiced with Dr. Barbara Walsh for the majority of this time. Nancy graduated from the Univ. of Mo - St. Louis Nurse Practitioner Program in 1994. Nancy provides care for women of all ages from adolescence through menopause.
She enjoys providing a holistic approach to her patient's health care. Nancy Arnold is married and has one daughter that recently completed nursing school.
